The district is home to 45 locally owned businesses, award winning entertainment venues, outdoor murals and the annual OKC Pride Festival. With so much to offer, there is something fun for everyone, 7 days a week.

History

In the 1920's 39th Street was part of historic Route 66 and was often visited by tourists who were traveling through Oklahoma. In the 1970's the area became known as The Strip. Today, the 39th Street district is a destination that celebrates the Oklahoma City LGBTQ+ community with annual parades and exciting nightlife.
